I am supposed to be packing for my well deserved rest in Thailand now. But I am quite sure most of you guys know what had happened over there by now. A coup had happened and no sane mind would want their ass over there at this moment. Though you will be surprised by some of the comments I had heard today. I think I would not said too much on it. No use getting agrieve over the actions of the ignorant. To friends who smsed or called me to check up on me, thanks. Really appreciated all your concerns. I am definitely not going there at this moment.
Though on the hindsight, I am glad that all these had happened before my holidays. It would be a nightmare if the coup had happened just as I had reached there. Seems like something is really fated. Maybe someone up there want me to put on hold the break I crave for so much and continue with my work in hand. Well, not much complaints here. Just wondering what is the probability of a coup happening just as you are supposed to leave for a holiday.
The trip will be postponed till a later date to an unknown destination. Waiting for my friends decision on the date and destination. To be honest, I am hoping that I can visit Thailand when the coup had died down though I am not sure when it will be. I was looking forward to the cheap shopping, booze and food over there. Not to mention the Thai Massage which my aching body is crying out for. Well, hope that no lives will be lost over there. I always had a good impression of Thailand. Thais are real friendly and I am speaking from my experience during my previous trip over there.
Well got to hit the sack now. It will be a long day again tomorrow. ;)
