Just got back from watching the match between S'pore and China. To be honest, it wasn't an exciting match. But I was still glad to be there. I think the players did themselves and the nation proud. Got to say a big thank you to Guowei for accompanying me to the match. Been a long time since I watched a live match and what more, visit the National Stadium.
6th of September used to be a very important day to me a few years ago. It was the birthday of someone who used to hold a very important place in my heart. Though we are not together now, I am glad that our paths crossed before. To be honest, i had been a bastard at times but yet you still manage to find the strength and courage to hang on to me back then. I am really glad that you are doing well in life now. For this is all I ever wanted.
This showed that our decision was correct. If the thing can't work out, no use trying to make it work. We did give it our best shot back then. I am glad to say that. This might not be the case for every failed relationship though.
The sad thing in life is not everything that you work hard and strive for, will turn out the way you hope it to be. Kinda ironic when I can spell it out in words but just can't quite manage to do it well in life. Nonetheless, I am glad that we are still on talking terms. Happy 26th birthday!! Oops. I just gave your age away. :P
