Busy busy busy. That's how I can describle my life recently. Last week was spent preparing for an important seminar on Wed. The seminar was a great success in my eyes. My friend, Turtle Hui (HAHA) presented well and I think we left a good impression on those who were present. After that was a KTV session (My fav activity and yet hardly does it nowadays due to work) follow by more ktv and drinking at a ktv pub. Wow. Like back to those old days in ISG. Haha. We finished at around 1 plus and it was good fun. Though in terms of drinking ability, my new colleagues might lose out to those in ISG, they are fun to be with nonethless.
My weekend was spent on mahjong and more mahjong. Though it was fun, it had become kinda monotonous. My friends (I didn't played as the table was bloody full. I could have open one more table) played from 2 plus in noon till 10 plus at night. Sun was also spent playing mahjong from 7 pm till 12 midnight. The best part is that I am blogging this just after a mahjong session. Yes. Mahjong again. I really need to bring in some new activities in my life. Mahjong is a nice game for friends to gather over with but 3 days of consecutive mahjong is like a bit too much. I am hoping to try cable ski or do some sports. Can't possibly wait till I am over 30 before trying all these sports right. So friends who are reading this, you know what to do. My house is not a gambling den. :P
Anyway, was quite surprised to know that quite a few people knew Shawn. It speak volumes for this guy as all had glowing impression of him. Though I wish that it wasn't through his demise that I knew that friends of mine were also friends of his. I just hope that there won't be anymore wastage of lives due to road accident.
Technology is here to help people with their lives. Not to end it.
