This weekend was supposed to be good for me until just now. Even though I had expected Spurs to screw themselves up by drawing with Sunderland but I still can't get over it. Just what the FIAK was Stalteri thinking about. It is not the first time he had screw up big time this season. We could have been 6 points in front of the Gooners if we had hold on for the win. Major disappointment. If I was Martin Jol, I would have replace him with Stephen Kelly ages ago. He is simply too complacent.
Anyway, my new Mahjong table was opened on Fri night by Benson, Chun Poh(Stanley, Grace and Vincent. We played till the morning again but Benson left us at around 3. He was kicked out of the game by the gang for winning close to $50 in two games. :P Well, the new table did bring me some luck. I won around $20 in one game. Been ages since I won in mahjong. Well, all good things had to come to an end as I ended up losing $20 the next night in Dai Dee with Alson and the rest. The winner was of course Alson again. How to win him when he always have one Bloody big Full House and either Ace pair or Dee pair. Sianzzz.. Anyway, I am ok with the defeat which is surprising. Seems like I had got numb to this losing feeling.
I am not hungry for success in things that I am doing now. Life seems to have come to a standstill for the past few weeks. I don't know how I am going to get my focus back but I know some drastic actions will have to be taken to arrest the slide. Had a talk with both my Boss and team leader on Fri. The scenario they pictured to me is that you know that a car is coming your way. You can either dodge it, stand still and wait to be kill or charge at it to make it stop. I would have charged at the problem in the past. Now, I am not sure.
Anyway, back to work tomorrow. If only I had gotten the tickets to Corrinne May concert tomorrow. Now, tomorrow is just another day for me. On a bright note, at least I will be driving again tomorrow. ;)
