Just had my first driving lesson earlier. It was fun. Damn fun. Something for me to take my mind off my troubles. I think my car died on me about 3 times. Not too bad for a beginner ba. My instructor is a nice guy. First time I drove home leh. Shiok!!
Visited my Encik Warrant Koh's home last Sat. It was great to see him and his family again. He is one of the best officers I had known from my army days and the only one who still keep in contact with us after our ORD. I think our days in Wallaby had only strengthen that bond. It was also great to see my friends from the S3 branch again. Had fun with them before joining my sec school buddies at Xiao P (Grace) home. Went for Loh Hei(my third this year!! Really hope it will bring me more good luck) before proceeding to mahjong at my home. We had 7 people at my home on Sat playing mahjong(including my mum). What happened was I asked more people as all those that I asked would not commit their time (only play mahjong leh.. Not go steady also scared). Turn out that all wanted to come in the end. I could had opened 3 tables of mahjong. To bad I only got one set and I also had no intention for my home to be a gambling den. So Vincent and Poh shared one table and Mum and I guided Grace. Thought she was not bad a player but turn out that she was one big sotong. Luckily I was there to stop her or else she would have Zai Hu. And the best part was it was only for one tai. Mum also guided her before retiring to bed. We played 3 long rounds before calling it a day at 8 a.m. By that time mum had already woke up for her visit to the temple. Talk about mahjong playing of the highest order. I was so shacked that day. But I had fun. We must do this once a month man. Grace, I will definitely ask u along. U need the training and also it is better to donate your money to us than others right?? :P Sorry to those who dun understand mahjong. You might not understand a single word of what i had just said. ;)
I am going to be Best Man on the 11th of March. One of my longest serving buddy had finally decided to take the plunge into his grave as what he describled to me. Well, as your buddy I will definitely accompany u in your last few weeks as a single man. I am ur buddy, best man and also the godfather to your unborn child. :) Really happy for you. You had finally enter a stage that I am looking forward to and yet afraid of what it might bring. I wish you and your family hapinness. Thanks a lot for your advice over the weekend.
