Am writing this as I am listening to The Beatles. Just bought their No 1 hits from HMV where it is selling at a low price of $14.95. It had a red cover with the 1 as the title. Gotta thanks Aik Guang for accompanying me for walking all the walk to CityLink HMV to get the cd. We were just wrapping up work at Funan Centre when I just had the urge to go get this cd. I heard it last night at HMV as I was waiting for my colleagues. In the end I spent 40 mins standing there listening to this CD. For those who only knew a few songs from The Beatles, this is a great cd for u. All the songs are awesome and is really what Rock and Roll is all about. I was pondering whether to get it or not as I just bought a F.I.R cd last week. I already got tons of cds in my home and lots of it are garbage. Glad that my these two buys are great.
Anyway, I am just glad that most of my friends are quite accomadating to me. One of my friends told me that the world doesn't just revolve around me. Great point brought up by him as I think that sometimes I do take my friends for granted. I think I am lucky in a sense that though I may not have a great family, I do have lots of great friends. Friends that I can count on. Friends that will be there for me whenever I need them. This is what I call a gift that is priceless. Nothing can buy you true friends. $$ may be able to do that but for how long?? So to all my friends out there, please forgive me if I did got on your nerves sometimes. I never meant it. Also received a message from Adelyn. She is a friend that I got to know from friendster. Thanks for the encouragement. Really glad for that as I now knows that somebody out there is reading my shit here. ;P
Anyway, got home real early today. I think it is the first tme in near to a month that I am able to watch the 10 o clock chinese news. But my efforts are not matching my pay check. This is life. Some people are born with a sliver spoon. I think mine is a plastic one if I do have a spoon in the first place. Anyway, I am not whining as I believe that only you yourself will make out your own future.
Got a haircut today from a student at Kimage for only $5. Though it looks a bit ugly now, it is still value for money. $5 for a wash and cut session. Where to find? Anyway, it will looks better as it gets longer. I am sure of that. People who are interested in it, tomorrow is the last day at Funan IT Mall Kimage. I am not an employee of them so no worries on whether I am advertising for them. Anyway, there is a talk on my job tomorrow at Singapore Post Centre. It starts at 6.30p.m and feel free to go down there to take a look. My bro, Jones will be giving a talk tomorrow. Anyway, for people who don't know what I am working as, I am a financial adviser with Prudential. Anyway, just go down there with an open mind if u are sick of your current job or looking for a new one. I am also doing this as my boss just called me up and asked me to call my friends up for this talk. I am tired so I think this is the best method. :)
You can take a picture of something you see. In the future where will I be?
